Egypt COi issues new requirements

With reference to the pre-shipment inspection program implemented by the General Organization for Export and Import Control of Commodities listed in Ministerial Resolutions No. 961 of 2012 and No. 991 of 2015. And with reference to the introduction of the Customs System for Advance Registration of Shipment (ACI) on October 1, 2021.

This notification requires that from September 1, 2021, inspection bodies need to upload the pre-shipment inspection certificates issued by yourselves to your website so that facilitate importers and implement the pre-examination program for shipments and reduce the time of customs release.
