SASO released notification about issuing Product Certificate to the Type 3 products (PC)

Reference to the decision of the ninth periodic meeting with the certification bodies for accepted products held on Jan.4th, 2022 , the Notification about Cetification of Conformity was released by SASO (Saudi Arabian Standards Organization) and made the following instruction:

Certification Bodies are forbidden to issue a Product Certificate to the Type 3 products outside the acceptable geographic range started from Apr. 1st, 2022. The SASO authority will verify whether there is a violation of this decision among all the Certification Bodies, and it will take legal measures to the violating parties.
